The Chronicle tells us that John Edwards is closing down the "College for Everyone" project after three years. It was an interesting project, and I'm happy to see that the program's director will remain on for another year to track how the scholarship recipients have done in college.
But the article doesn't indicate what closing up shop after three years means for the students who have received the scholarships in the last three years, who are presumably not yet finished with college. Do they lose their scholarships immediately? Are they grandfathered in?
This, it seems to me, is a most pressing point.
